I first met Christie in an online photographers group that would later spiral into 35+ other groups. After the first all caps comment she left on one of my posts in the group, I knew we were going to be good friends.
Fast forward through many many months of being internet friends, I finally got the chance to meet this eccentric soul so full of life at a workshop held in Moab, Utah back in October. I WAS HOOKED ON HER. She was the brightest ray of light I had ever seen. She had this knack for making any task into a song filled, joyous and pure blissful experience. She was contagious. Her smile, her laugh. And I just wanted to put her in my pocket and bring her back to Tennessee with me.
My husband and I have many friends in Utah, all thanks to online photography groups. We came back in January 2017 for a ski trip and if we're being honest, you can't come to Utah and not take pictures. Its UNREAL. So I had to get Christie and her husband Kc , in front of my camera. AND BOY WAS I GLAD THEY SAID YES.
They were celebrating their 5th wedding anniversary. 5 wonderful, hard working years of marriage. And the love between them made you forget all about it being only 20 degrees outside. I'm so grateful to call these two our friends. I can't even begin to describe how our session went so I'll just show you instead!
Here are some of my favorites from their anniversary session in the snowy mountains of Salt Lake City. <3
